Paul Myers is an Emmy nominated film maker that currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, who often writes his bio in the third person, and always looks whimsically into the middle distance in pictures. He has written and directed numerous short films, and his two award winning features, Southern Belles (2005) and 5 Shells (2012), have played around the world. Paul would also like you to believe he is an international art sensation having had work play at Art Basel in Switzerland and in museums in New York and Naples, but it would be a stretch.
In addition to his work in film Paul worked in late night television directing, writing, and producing sketches and short comedic documentaries on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. There his talents earned him nominations for DGA and PGA awards, and an Emmy nomination in 2018 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. He will tell you it was an honor just to be nominated, but he'd just be repeating what many people who were not nominated insisted.
Recently Paul has been applying his storytelling skills to post-production, focusing on editing and visual effects. Recent work includes the feature films A Message from Brianna, Dear Best Friend, and the anthology series "I Got a Story To Tell," for BET+.
